A Little Request

View from the Sugar Loaf on a Winter Sun Day

I am sorry that I haven’t blogged as much lately but my daughter and I have been busy working together setting up a website for a planned mother-daughter small business enterprise.
I would dearly love you to have a look at the site and give your feedback on it  as I really value your opinions and any suggestions you may have.  I won’t explain here how the business idea came about but all is revealed on the site.
This the link; Google is not picking it up yet as it only went live a few days ago.

Many thanks,
Cait

Good morning, Cait.
I've had a good look around the site. I find it very easy to maneuver and very clear. I like the testimonials and photos. I also like the colours you've chosen. I would wish for slightly larger photos of the two of you. It is nearly impossible to see you, so I'd suggest larger photos or no photo at all.
What a great idea you've come up with. As the parent of two adoptees I know the challenges of the search. Best of luck with this!

Dear Cait,
Yes, As you can imagine, I'm so very interested in your website and ideas.
As an adoptee myself, I have always longed to meet the half brothers and sisters I may well have.
My adoptive family ARE my family, but think what joy it would be to find other cousins.
The testimonials are excellent.
I will recheck the web site in view of Pondside's
comments above.

I think the site is brilliant, easy to navigate, giving sufficient information which is easy to read and digest, no fancy frills or promises. I have done a lot of genealogy also, know how hard it can be at times when you come up against the proverbial brick wall, but also know the thrill of finding a relative, no matter how distant, you never knew existed. I also know the flipside, when a relative actually doesn't want to know you, isn't interested in long-lost or hitherto unknown family, and you feel saddened by this, so do see the need for people to be warned beforehand, that not everyone wants to be found! Having experience as a counsellor myself, I know how important this can be, as well as from a personal perspective.
Good luck to you both.

Oh I think it's a wonderful site and wonderful business. I would like to talk with you about it one day as I have a great-grandfather, whom we know very little of, who hailed from Great Britain.

Your own story is fascinating. I'd love to know more about the reunion process and how it has worked out for you.

It looks wonderful; professional and reassuring. I do like the logo you've chosen too. I agree with Pondside that it would be nice to see larger photos of you and your daughter, just to see more of the faces behind your service. Wishing you both every success with the venture.

The site looks wonderful - very professional and easy to navigate. The logo is perfection. Best of luck to you as you begin this new endeavor.

(It was fascinating to read your own adoption story and search for your family. Sad, though, that your parents had both passed before you were able to connect.)

The site is brilliant. As it opened I was much taken by the logo, which is simple, striking and imaginative. The style of the page is excellent, clean and simple to use. Navigation is a gift.

I wish you every success in your enterprise.

Hi Cait - I'm going to look at your new site over the weekend, as I haven't had time yet, but I just wanted to say I hope you don't mind - I have 'borrowed' your wonderful Keep Calm and Blog About It badge! I love it. AND it's such a wonderful colour.
Hope that's ok!

Hi Cait - sorry to get back to you late on this! I love the website, and the idea behind it. I think the logo is really fabulous, and everything is explained well, easy to find and answers all the immediate questions.
Well done both of you - excellent groundwork, and I hope it is a real success for you both.
I'll share the link on my facebook page.
