More February Snow

Surprise blossom in the optimistically-named gravel garden

A view downstream

My first black and white - the marshy area in the field.

I call it the pond and it is Kitty's favourite place to splosh in as she loves water whatever the season. It's a large sunken area on the site of an old Roman Road and it is said the area was dug out and the roadstone removed many years ago.

Just a drop of white magic in the snow

That's all for now folks. I have to choose five favourite paintings for Purplecoo homework and will post these some time soon.

So watch this space,

Bye for now,
Go mbeanna Dia duit,
Cait

they're very lovely pictures - teh second one down looks more like a painting than a photo and the bottom one, I love the simple bit of optimistic green with that stark white. More due tonight ...!

Thaks for updating us so beautifully. We in the US worry about the UK. Hope the snow will not cause too many difficulties.

The hopefulness of the snowdrop, just lifts the spirits.

Oh, I do envy you your snow. It's lovely, especially as we have had none so far. Hope remains, however.
I look forward to seeing your favourite paintings!

Beautiful photos but the second one is particularly lovely.

And snowdrops! Already?

Isn't the snow just beautiful? I do like that black and white one, all light and shadow.

Yes, I agree with Milla - and we've more snow here tonight.

Beautiful pictures; I especially love the one of the stream.

oh, (pout) I thought I had left a comment. Well, these photos are terrific and take me right there to that beautiful Wales countryside. In fact, I think these could go straight into a tourism brochure. ;) Super lovely, thanks!

What beautiful photos. We only had a few snow showers but nothing settled.

Dear Cait,

You seem to have had much of that lovely snow, and love the pictures you have posted for us. I especially love the one with the stream.

Stay warm Cait, lots of rest needed, hope you will soon be feeling better.

I seemed to have posted my comments twice.
