Reason for my Absence

I thought I should just post an apology for being absent from this blog for over a month now. I am afraid I have had a cancer diagnosis and further surgery/treatment is on the horizon, I shall report back when I can and I shall try to visit other blogs too.

Dear Cait,
This is such awful news.
I do hope your treatments are not too horribly difficult - and thank heavens you are in the UK with the National Health.
You will be in my thoughts.
Sending much love, dear Cait.

Thinking of you, Cait, which is how I happen to be visiting at nearly midnight. I am not happy to read of the latest and am hoping that you know more now in the intervening week since you last wrote. Take care....there has to be a doozy of a poem in this.
