I have been following news via the BBC and various other UK media over the past couple of days. It's fascinating to realize that there are lots of young folks now who have no idea about the time I remember.
Maybe it has always been this way? History. Memory.
I don't usually get involved in discussions about politics or religion, it leads to fall outs I have learnt since my forthright views, or maybe just the blunt way I put them, get people's backs up!However I do have to say I agree that a state funeral seems to be going over the top.
