Don't let the sun catch you crying

I have not blogged for many days; I apologise. I seem to have been busy with life, the good weather has filled me with energy bringing about a need to spring clean and de-clutter (yet again) and it has also drawn me outside which is not a bad thing. I am continuing my Alphabet of Songs now.

The letter 'D' has been a hard one and in the end I have chosen a song I loved when I was very young. I still love it and think it is underrated. Hope you love it too.

Any ideas for 'E' would be welcomed as I only have one or two ideas so far.

Don't let the sun catch you crying.
Bye for now,
Cait.

No need for apologies Cait - the sun has been shining and there are always more pressing and interesting things to do, however enjoyable blogging is:-)

My vote for E would be 'Every Time we say Goodbye' by Cole Porter, as sung by Ella Fitzgerald. Please, please!!

Excellent choice for D!

Oh this is a wonderful choice. Brings back sweet memories of childhood for me.

Eleanor RIgby... that would be my personal choice for "E". An amazing song.

Hi Cait -'fraid the sun left in a huff here today , it's been cold and overcast all day. For the letter 'E' how about Buddy Holly's "Every day" Just a thought xxx

I had Buddy Holly's Every Day as a contender Molly! Along with a few others. Eleanor Rigby is a great choice as is the Cole Porter..... it is going to be so hard to choose.

Cait, it's grand to see you posting, and I do like your D song choice.

Also think either the Eleanor Rigby or Every Day would do for the E choice. Every Step You Take is another possibility.

Let's see what else...too tired tonight, mind's gone blank.

When the sun is out you can't help but be feeling a spring in every step! I know it always makes me feel so much more hopeful and happier with life!

I was in the bookstore the other day and they played this song and I loved it and though I need to hear that again...then when I visited you blog, here it was as a "you might like... and I do!

Isn't this this saddest and sweetest song?
