Cait, I still remember a time when a bank looked like a bank, and the folks one encountered there sort of inspired trust.
Perhaps I was a little naive and inexperienced back then; perhaps things were or were not different from nowadays.
It's disorienting to have so much of established beliefs challenged. In some ways this is the gift of the internet...having more access to information. It leaves me wondering about where calmer happiness might lie. (Do I mean live or "lie?")

We use a local, nonaffiliated bank. I like that it's directors live here in town, I think they feel a bit more responsible.
