Introverts

  1. I so relate! I started watching the video and knew it was going to be right up my street. So I'm saving it till the dishes are done and I can sit reading with Edward asleep on my feet. Thanks for a guaranteed good hour to come!

  2. I mean knitting, not reading. It was the idea of her taking a case of books to summer camp that got me mixed up there.

  3. That was a very thoughtful discussion. She makes so many valid points. When the push for working together in the classroom first was around, a decade or more ago, I used it myself all the time wondering how it worked. For the extroverts took over the group and the introverts allowed it. I finally selected groups very carefully when I used that method. I really liked her balanced approach.

  6. The subject has been in the news and in blogland for a while now; there've even been tests to find out what you are, introverted or extroverted. I am on the side of the introvert and happy to be so.

  8. Couldn't agree more.So happy to hear what I've always thought expressed so eloquently and fluently. It is my classroom theory exactly, and I rejoice to see it recognized here! Yay!

  9. I sent this to my son, who replied 'I'm reading the book'.
Sometimes I think that blogdom is full of introverts masquerading as extroverts.

  11. I'm so glad you dropped by my blog and left me a message as it sent me here and I REALLY enjoyed watching this lady. She made such good points and seemed very sincere.
I agree with your other comment from Pondside, I too think the internet is a massive outlet for introverts wearing masks. ;))

    I love your poetry!
